The halakhic topic of women touching or holding a Sefer Torah is discussed within the broader context of the halachot and minhagim surrounding a Sefer Torah, including its movement inside a shul and well as out of a shul to another location. (Note: The shiur begins a few minutes into the recording with a review of unrecorded section of shiur.) This shiur is by Rabbi Menachem Schrader, Founding Director of the OU's Jewish Learning Initiative on Campus (OU-JLIC). The shiur was delivered as a conference call with OU-JLIC Rabbis and Educators from over 20 college campuses.
