Adar

Description

Rav Weinberger speaking at Yeshivas Derech HaMelech in Yerusalayim .When the month of Adar enters into who we are, the result is increased joy. Adar has the strengths to confront the gentile and differentiate between the Haman and Mordechai within ourselves. The strongest weapon that Amalek has is to prevent a us from strengthening our tefillah (prayer). Haman tries to tell us that G-d is sleeping. Mordechai and Esther were sent to urge us not to stop davening (praying). We learn from Purim that even when we find ourselves in the filthiest place, or lowest time in our lives, we need to cry out to Hashem. Purim represents Hashem watching, listening, and caring about each one of us 'od d'lo yada,' to an extent that we don't know.
