Lecturing at the 3rd annual conference of the YU Student Medical Ethics Society, Dr. Leon Zacharowicz discussed the developments in end of life care in the U.S. and abroad using the famous Golubchuk case, in which a Canadian doctor refused life sustaining treatment requested by the patient`s family which ultimately required the intervention of the Canadian Supreme Court, as his springboard.
