Description

Part of a course focusing on various theological challenges emerging from the Breishit narrative – evolution and creation, morality and akeidat yitzchak, parallels between the Torah and ancient Near Eastern texts, and the relationship between Breishit and the rest of Chumash. Using the Torah texts as the starting point, the course will explore what our greatest modern sages have said about these issues.
