Description

One of the challenges of a fixed liturgy is adding meaning to prayers that we recite daily by rote. This four part series will breathe new life into familiar prayers, such as Ashrei, Shema and Kedushah, as we explore them with a view toward understanding their origins, structure and meaning. No prior knowledge of Jewish liturgy is required.
