For Masechet Bava Batra 93a-b the debate between Rav & Shmuel over issue of supporting the plaintiff's claim with a רוב. Is רוב reliable evidence in monetary disputes, to force the defendant to pay out of pocket? If the majority supports the claim of the buyer that 'this is not the item I intended to buy', can he force the seller to reimburse him? Can the owner of the cow killed by someone else's ox claim damages to the dead fetus if his claim is corroborated by significant but circumstantial evidence?
