Minchat Chinuch 11:3-5 - Defining "your" chametz, in terms of liability for ownership and possession on Pesach. What if it could become yours in the future? Is hefker a form of vow, and therefore revokable? If so, how is hefker an acceptable means of ridding one's self of chametz?
