Description

This shiur discusses the prohibition against placing chametz and honey on the Mizbe'ach. These Mitzvos lead the Rambam to hold that one may not make kiddush on Yayin Mevushal. This shiur discusses the different factors in choosing wine that is either mevushal, non-mevushal, or grape juice for kiddush during the year and the 4 cups at the seder. The shiur also discusses the Halacha of having salt with challah during the year and the question of whether or not matzah should also be dipped in salt.
