Description

Are Women OBLIGATED in saying Kiddush Levana or is it an example of them VOLUNTERING for it? Seems like the Talmud says explicitly (Sanhedrin 42a) that האי נשי דידן נמי מברכי ,"our women also say this Bercha" (of Kiddush Levana): was it just a statement of fact that they volunteered or was it a statement of obligation? Fascinating difference of opinion about how to DEFINE a "time-bounded commandment" that women are exempt from.
