Description

Derashah for Parshat Chukat 5785. The Yerushalmi says Yechezkel and Yirmiyahu recorded the wrong dates for the Babylonian invasion of Yerushalayim and the destruction of the first Beit haMikdash. The Chatam Sofer says it was intentional. Why did they do it, and what can we learn from it?
