Description

Is the חיוב to recite קידוש על הכוס only מדרבנן or even מדאי'? If it's מדאי', does this necessarily include a חיוב טעימה מדאי'? If not, is it possible for a בורא פרי הגפן to be recited without an associated שתייה? How does this reflect on the nature of the בורא פרי הגפו? Is it still a ברכת הנהנין or possibly a ברכת המצוה?
