Description

Masechet Eruvin 65b-66a, can the Jew rent rights to the חצר from the Non-Jewish owner who shares the courtyard in a situation where the owner has rented his apartment to a tenant, if the owner has rights to terminate the rental agreement and evict the tenant form his apartment. If the answer is yes, what about a case where the non-Jewish owner was not present of Friday but he shows up on Shabbos. The Eruv is now disqualified, but can the Jewish owners activate the entity of ביטול רשות?
