Description

Immediately following the war, it was discovered that non-Jews were using pages of Seforim for undignified and demeaning purposes, such as wrapping fish. Rav Oshry was asked if there was an obligation to collect money to purchase these remnants of the Seforim to save them from degradation. As well, if the pages were acquired, how should the Geniza take place?
