Description

One student of Rav Oshry, a boy who had not reached Bar Mitzva, asked the Rav the following question: He could not be certain that he would merit to fulfill the Mitzva of Tefillin after his Bar Mitzva, because the Germans repeatedly targeted large groups of children to be murdered. Under these circumstances, could he put on Tefillin prior to his Bar Mitzva?
