Description

Daf Yomi Shabbat 11b, the debate between Abaye & Rava re: a גזירה דרבנן to protect against a violation of a derabanan. Much of our study will focus on the Mishna of וכן בגת, and the issue of eating a 'temporary' meal from fruits before הפרשת מעשר and before גמר מלאכה. We will touch on the q' of defining Rabbinic prohibitions, particularly regarding Melachos on Shabbos.
