Description

Masechet Bava Metzia 13b: two interpretations of the debate bet R' Meir & the Chachamim re: one who finds a שטר מלוה, one of R' Yochanan & the other of R' Elazar. The main challenge of this sugya is trying to understand the Gemara's conclusion that the בריית contradicts R' Elazar on only ONE count, when in truth there is a double contradiction to R' Elazar.
