In this week's episode of The Inner Dimension, we explore two teachings from the Degel Machaneh Ephraim which discuss the importance of relating to yiddishkeit as a passionate relationship with the Master of the World, seeing our national soul as the Kallah who yearns to unite with her Chosson, Hashem. We learn about the two kinds of avodas Hashem hinted to by the two kinds of stones collected for the Bigdei Kehuna, the "Avnei Shoham" and "Avnei Milu'im". Finally, we talk about Amalek's "kerirus" and the awesome light of Purim which reconnects us to the Eitz HaChayim of a passionate and loving engagement with yiddishkeit.
