Parsha:

Collections: R' Billet Netziv on the Parsha

Description

Using Netziv's commentary we looked at two portions of B'Shalach - the beginning and the end. In the beginning, we learned of the much larger role the civilian population played at the splitting of the sea, as well as how Egypt finally saw God in a way they may not have through the plagues. As far as Amalek goes, we see that the battle with Amalek was even more of a spiritual battle than it was a physical battle.
