Description

In beginning the fifth perek, Shlomo HaMelech continues his warnings about not succumbing to desires. Using a parable he explained how even heresy could look enticing, even beneficial to someone. As the Malbim explains, one could think that they won’t be enticed and they could be careful, but the effects of studying foreign theology could deep into ones mind and creep up later. We spoke about the memory-benefit of verbalizing information and how a person wants what one can’t have.
