Description

Daf Yomi Berachot 20b, why does the Mishna have to teach us that women are exempt from Kriyat Shema? Why the need to teach us that women are obligated in Tefilla? Are they obligated in Tefilla DeRabanan which is time bound? Would נשים be obligated in Tefillin just as they are Mezuzah? Why did the Mishna specify Kriat Shema rather that formulate a general rule of זמן גרמא which would apply to ALL mitzvot? Are women obligated in Birkat HaMazon just as men are?
