Description

We learned a real-life story of Rav Simcha Bunim, when he was on his deathbed. He spoke to his grandchildren saying that like Yitzchak and Yaakov who couldn’t see, needed to connect through hugs and kisses, showing the importance of eye contact. We then learned about Yaakov Avinu’s ability to turn his body into an independent holy decision maker (by crossing his arms), much like Dovid HaMelech, whose legs brought him to shul despite thinking he wanted to go elsewhere.
