Description

Chanukah shiur at Matan HaSharon - "Rav Yitzchak Hutner: Chanukah and the Creation of the Jewish Mind". The recording gets cut off early. In the last piece, I compare how Rav Hutner and Rav Kook (His former rebbe) address the issue of seeking out the good within the bad. Rav Hutner suggests that the encounter with Greek Wisdom had a positive effect because it lead to the explosion of TSBP. Rav Kook seeks out the light within other theologies such as Atheism and Political Zionism.
