In this class we discussed Shlomo HaMelech’s understanding of struggles- that they’re tests of Hashem, like a father disciplining a son. While in the moment the situation is difficult, behind the pain a is a love that Hashem cares to correct our behaviors. Shlomo continues to discuss how the true test of Torah knowledge is to teach it, and that the pursuit of that knowledge is greater than even the attainment of wealth.
