Description

Answering our question from last week, Rav Henoch of Aleksander explained that despite Avraham and Sarah’s success at converting others through chesed, we never hear from them again because they couldn’t relate the Yitzchak’s din and gevurah. Rav Tzadok explains that “lech” means that Avraham’s journey actually included Terach’s upbringing; that it was his recognition of what’s bad that led him to do good. And as Rav Tzadok extends the same concept- it’s our existence in Galus that precipitates our Geulah.
