Description
Masechet Sanhedrin 16b: the limitations in establishing ערים נידחות. The limitations are לקולא; this despite the fact that in any event the individuals who worshiped idolatry will be condemned to death. But the city is not destroyed nor will the family (including the young children) of the idolaters be put to death.
