Description

A brief biographical sketch and highlights from a few major works to skim the surface of this Torah Giant (in the final class in this Course) Note two corrections/clarifications: The Rebbitzen of Talne was the Rav's machatainsteh (Prof. Twersky's mother). It was in his hesped for her that he describes his experiences with his own mother (incorrectly named as the Rebbetzin). Also, R' Chaim Soloveitchik was the Netziv's grandson in law, not his son in law.
