We continue the sugya of הנאה הבאה לו בעל כרחו & the controversy between Abaye and Rava in understanding the views of Rebby Shimon and Rebby Yehuda. Among the issues: is מתכיון an automatic מחייב? Is אפשר an automatic אוסר? Could there be a case of מתכוין which might be permissible? Is it possible that לא מתכוין combined with לא אפשר might be prohibited? We will compare and contrast the two לשונות, the two versions of the controversy.
