      Thank you for the excellent Shiur, You quote Rabbi Yaakov Kamenetsky about the relationship between Yehoshua ben Prachya and Jesus and Yehoshua ben Prachya's statement of עשה לך רב. Can you please point me to where Rabbi Yaakov Kamenetsky said this. I cant find it in Emes lyaakov. Thank you so much.

        Thank you for your email. The quote from Rav Yaakov Kaminetsky can be found in the sefer Emes L'Yaakov on Pirkei Avos which is a small sefer that was published with Rav Yaakov's comments on Pirkei Avos. I am putting his language below for your enjoyment:

        יהושע בן פרחיה ראה מעשה ונזכר הלכה כי הלוא הוא היה רבו של אותו האיש שיצא לתרבות רעה עד שהמציא מלבו הוספה על התורה והיינו התורה החדשה שבדה מלבו אבל אם היה הוא עושה לעצמו רב והיינו מקבל מרות רבו ואינו מהרהר אחריו אז לא היה מעיז לחדש דבר שלא שמע...
