Description

Masechet Megilla 18b-19a: we will continue our study of the conditions for fulfilling the Mitzva of reading the Megilla, with emphasis on the difference between the reader and the listener. Then we will study the requirements of the writing of the Megilla; it must be written on (and with) קלף ודיו. In the latter part of today's shiur we will discuss the Mishna of פרוז בן יומו and how much of the Megilla must be read in order to fulfill the obligation of reading the Megilla.
