Masechet Pesachim B'Iyun: We begin today's shiur with an attempt at explaining the Rambam's view on the mitzva of תשביתו, and his distinction between חמץ ידוע - which requires physical destruction - and חמץ שאינו ידוע - where ביטול suffices. The main part of the shiur is an introduction to our study of the Ramban's in-depth analysis of Bittul. Is the latter a mitzva of תשביתו as Rashi would have it? Or is ביטול identical with הפקר as Tos' would have it? What are the problems with both of these approaches?
