Rabbi, Is it possible that the Rama only allows a psik resha with a double dirabanan in the case of trapping the flies since both dirabanan's are due to a deficit in the actual milacha (a fly that is not usually trapped and a large box). The case of the Noda Biyihudah regarding cutting letters of a cake, however, has one deficit in the actual milacha (lo al minas lichtov), but the shinoy relates more to the gavra. Could that be why the Rama is machmir in the second case? (Perhaps the Rama would be similarly machmir and not allow closing a small box on the flies with a shinoy?) Thanks Jeff Gross
