      Rabbi, Are you aware of how American - Jewish bankers (Goldman Sachs etc) loaned money to the Japanese in 1905 for their war against Russia? No one was willing to lend "the soon to be loser Japan" money. Gratitude for those loans played a role in the Japanese taking in Jews in WW2 despite German protests. There is a Wikipedia page on this. Appreciate your lectures, Boruch
