Description

Lecture given on a bus in the Balkans. What are the seven weeks after Tisha B'Av called, in regards to the haftorah? Does Hashem forget sins? Why are we doreish semuchim in Devarim? Is yiras shamaim easy? Why does one need to recite 100 blessings daily? Is there a biblical case of eating certain foods before another food? Have any biblical mitzvas evolved over time or have they all stayed the same from Mt Sinai on? Are bircas hamazon, milah, arei miklat, and sefer torah script, the same as when Moshe taught them to us? When Moshe tells us to remember how we angered Hashem, is this remembrance a mitzvah? Why is there no special shabbos reading, for remembering the golden calf and the sin of Miriam, as we have a special reading for Zachor?
