      Hi Rabbi Lebowitz Hope alll is well. I just wanted to add one point- I had the impression that Kalla didnt don jewlery because it is like their Yom Kippur. In Chasidish circles the Yom Kippur theme Byom Chsunaso is very strongly stressed. Just like woman dont were gold jewlery on Yom Kipur. This doesnt address why they give it out to their friends.
