Rabbi Rice

Thank you for this fascinating shiur.

The second half of this question happens next year in a leap year when in chul we have the opportunity to catch up to everything right away and yet we do not combine acharei mos and kedoshim together which is a question on your presentation.

I think the answer is whenever the opportunity to lain bamidbar right before Shavuos avails itself then we do not change until we fulfill that opportunity. Which is along your kav of the din being paramount. The question on this would be why we dont join at chukas balak and wait until matos masei. The answer very well may be that Chul has its cycle and always had its cycle and does not need to change anything ever and it is only EY that changes like splitting behar bechukosai or splitting matos masei to be in sync with chul.

[email protected]

3109271853
