Masechet & Hilchot Shabbat 73b & 93b: Toward a definition of מלאכה שאינה צריכה לגופא. We will analyze Rashi and the objections of Tos' and the alternative definition of Tos'. We will understand the question of the Sfas Emes from the digging of עפר to fill the מזבח based upon Tos' who proves that the עפר in the wilderness during that period of time was miraculously capable of planting and producing. We will analyze the principle of החי נושא את עצמו as understood by Tos', to what extend are we bound by the Mishkan? We will look into the הררי קדם to try to defend Rashi against the onslaught of Tos'.
