Description

Masechet & Hilchot Shabbat 73b: Would רוב operated to give סקילה to a violation of מלאכה according to Isi ben Yehuda?. The latter recognized the existence of an unidentified מלאכה which does not generate a חיוב סקילה. If we apply רוב then for any single Melacha would generate a חיוב סקילה since the majority of Melachos engender the punishment of סקילה.
