Description

How has depression been viewed in Judaism, and particularly in halachah, historically? How can Jewish ideas help in psychotherapy? Geared toward a group including people without strong background in Torah text study. (I chose not to discuss emunah here; I think it can be very challenging to promote emunah as a part of therapy for depression, and it is not always appropriate.)
