Description

This shiur opens with a recap of previous sugyos and shiurim. First new segment begins at 4:42 - The Phantom 4th Rationale for our Mishna - with a focus on תוס’ ב: ד”ה כמאן and definitions of בית and דירת אדם. This segment includes two historical excursions (Amoraim and Baalei ha-Tosfos). Second segment (36:17) moves to Rav Huna and the shade aspect of the sukka, with a focus on תוס’ ב: ד”ה יש. The nexus of astronomy, trigonometry and lomdus begins at minute 46.
