Masechet & Hilchot Shabbat 36b: the Rav's insight into the definition which underlies the איסור חזרה בערב שבת. Are we talking about a 'slice' of time before Shabbat which is considered - מדרבנן - Shabbat (as far as מלאכת בישול is concerned)? Or is this an extension of the איסור שהייה? The difference will be מצטמק ורע לו. We will discuss a debate between the Rambam and other Rishonim re: cooking the same foodstuff a second time.
