Why does the middah of Yitzchak, the middah of gevurah, only come out in its full form at the end of the Parsha? We explore the foundational principle that all of the seven middot have to develop within the context of the entirety of the system of the seven middot. Once understood, this principle beautifully explains the unexpected structure of the Parsha, from the destruction of Sedom to the Akeidah itself.
