Description

Nimrod, the king of Bavel, is the anthesis of Avraham Avinu. The ideology of his generation is all about unity. However, they are punished for taking it too far and living a life of conformity. Avraham comes along 10 generations later and shows the world what its like to live as an individual. We need to synthesize the two ideologies in order to really live our lives the Torah way. (Part of HaMidrasha at QC, OU-JLIC's Torah learning program for women at Queens College.)
