The world being created in seven days implies that all processes of 7 are processes of creation. How does this apply to the 7,000 years of history (as described by Chazal) and the 7 days of every single week of our lives? In working to answer this question, we discover what is meant to be created and to be perfected in each of these processes. Additionally we see the impact of these systems on history, our lives, and ultimately on how we view the unfolding of the rest of Parashat Bereishit.
