We begin by discussing the importance of learning Chumash with the same depth and intellectual rigor that we use to approach learning other areas of Torah, like Gemara. We then explain why one of the best ways to do this is by examining the broader strokes and the bigger picture of Chumash, looking at each Sefer as a whole and each Parsha as its own meaningful, distinct unit within that Sefer. We conclude by introducing Parshat Bereishit, discussing how Torah spans and relates to the entirety of history, from Creation until the End of Days.
