We will study the consistency in Rashi in Masechet Shabbat Daf 31b & Daf 106a. In Rahi's view regarding Rebby Yehuda. Rashi opines that Rebby Yehuda in fact requires מלאכת מחשבת. R' Yerhuda's chiddush is that even שלא לצורך גופה is considered a valid צורך and fulfills the requirement of Meleches Machsheves.In the case of מקלקל, R' Yehuda exempts the doer because of a lack of Meleches Machsheves. The bulk of today's shiur is dedicated to the debate regarding דבר שאינו מתכוין in כל התורה כולה and in Meleches Shabos.
