The sugya in Sanhedrin 30b-31a records a great debate between Rabanan and Rebby Yehoshua ben Korcha regarding the possibility of Beit Din integrating the witnesses to form a unit (כת). Do we accept the view that such an integrated testimony is valid? In קרקע or even in the case of two loans? Can we integrate the witnesses if there is a discrepancy between them? Who may be present in the courtroom when the Judges deliberate? These and other issues will be studied today.
