As we move from the Brit of Parshat Ki Tavo and come to Parshat Nitzavim, we struggled to understand the purpose of a second Brit, seemingly more harsh than the first, in Nitzavim. By way of narrative, we closely analyzed the differences between the two covenants to better understand the purpose of each and each ones relation to Klal Yisrael.
