This shiur will focus on gaining an understanding of the Rambam on כתמים, an analysis of the two interpretations of the כסף משנה. Does a כתם come under the law of ספק ספיקא, and represents a unique stringency established by the Chachamim because of חומרת טומאת נדה? Or is there really only one single ספק regarding the source of the דם מגופה, namely, did it come from the חדר or from the עלייה? In this latter interpretation there is no reasonable double about the fact that this דם came מגופה; where else could it have come from since she did not visit a butcher shop. We will study the Sidrei Tahara and go back to the Ramah, the Shach & the Taz.
