This Derech HaLimud shiur will continue our study of the general kiyum vs. the specific kiyum & we will focus on the general Kiyum of Hiddur Mitzva and its specific application in the cases of Bris Milah & Ner Chanuka. This is our attempt to place the insights of the Brisker Rav into a broader perspective. Regarding the mitzvah of Chinuch insofar as this generates a Rabbinic obligation upon the קטן himself (and the קטן can be מוציא the gadol in Birkas HaMazon) do we view this obligation as specific to each & every mitzva and the minor is a בר חיובא vis-a-vis that mitzva MiDirabanan. We will study the principle of מצוה בו יותר מבשלוחו from the perspective of our חקירה.
