This is a Halacha shiur for Pesach on the nature of the mitzvah of חרוסת. We will discuss חרוסת from both a practical perspective, i.e. what are the ingredients of חרוסת, how much should be eaten, how & when to do טיבול in חרוסת, with special emphasis on Karpas - does it require טיבול in חרוסת, and from a conceptual perspective - is חרוסת a mitzvah unto itself and should it require a Beracha and a כזית? We will try to reconcile what seems to be a contradiction in the Rambam. At the end of the shiur we will ask the Hashkafic question: what message is inherent in the integration of Maror & Charoset?
